Stand Together documentary

The students who created this documentary ask that you watch it with an open mind and empathy. This documentary is about what happens when we listen to and empower student voice. This is a student-led project that started with a call from students to end inter-school violence. They wanted to find ways to bring their communities together. It’s about seeing the curriculum in action. As you watch you will see students that are motivated, positive in their own identity, resourceful and resilient. All things our curriculum aspires for our young people.

These students are from different schools, but they have come together as one community. They have used effective mechanisms to communicate and connect. You will see and feel their desire to be active contributors to a positive society, both for their family and their community. They are self-driven learners, actively seeking knowledge to become informed decision makers and leaders.

You will see local curriculum in action as students and families from diverse backgrounds work together to ensure they stay engaged in education despite the challenges that COVID presented during 2020.

Implementation and supporting curriculum resources will be available on this page soon.
