Alcohol and other drug education
Alcohol and Other Drug Education Programmes (2014) is based on a review of government funded alcohol and other drug education programmes. It summarises the findings, and reflects additional thinking that boards of trustees, school leaders, and teachers may find useful to ask when selecting and implementing programmes.
This guide provides introductory information for schools on alcohol and drug education programmes. It focuses mainly on two contexts: school-wide health promotion activities, and learning programmes in the health and physical education (HPE) learning area.
